Waikīkī
As this map of our regular site location shows, you’ll normally find Lōkahi’s white and black canoes at the Diamond Head end of the Ala Wai canal, next to the Waikīkī Library and adjacent to the Ala Wai Golf Course.
The Ala Wai Golf Course Road branches off Kapahulu Avenue. If you are traveling makai on Kapahulu, plan on turning right at the Waikīkī Library (across the street from the Chevron station); coming from Waikīkī, you'll make a left turn. Be careful of the fast-moving, heavy traffic on Kapahulu.
There is limited parking at the site, and more parking in the golf course driving range parking lot. If you have to park at the driving range, please use only the stalls along the Diamond Head fence. Please do not park in any of the library spaces.
