Bylaws

Article IX: Committees

Committees, including but not limited to the following Standing Committees, shall be appointed.

1. Ways and Means. The Ways and Means Committee shall be appointed by the President and shall concern itself with the means by which the treasury may be increased. It shall be the duty of the committee to investigate and determine fund raising projects. It shall submit all reports and recommendations to the Officers for final approval.
2. Budget. The Budget committee shall be shall be appointed by the Treasurer and shall be responsible for setting up a budget for the season.
3. Itinerary. The Itinerary Committee shall be appointed by the Vice-President and shall be responsible for organizing trips for the Club when traveling away from O`ahu for races.
4. By Laws. The By Laws Committee shall be appointed by the President and shall be responsible for the revision of the By Laws of the Club, at the direction of the members, in accordance with the By Laws of Roberts Rules of Order, Revised.
5. Disciplinary. The Disciplinary Committee shall be appointed by the President and shall consider complaints of conduct detrimental to the Club and recommend to the President and the Board appropriate discipline for such conduct.
6. Recruiting. The Recruiting Committee shall be appointed by the Vice-President and shall be responsible for developing and implementing means of retaining current members and recruiting new members.
7. Nominating. The Nominating Committee shall be appointed by the Vice-President and shall be responsible for drawing up a list of qualified candidates to stand for election to Office.
